AccuTaxes, Inc. was started in December of 2016 to help our clients receive accurate, timely and informative tax and bookkeeping services.
When the owner of AccuTaxes, Inc, Amber MacDonald, started working in the tax industry, after being in the accounting world for over 20 years, she found a passion for working with taxes. She went on to obtain her EA (Enrolled Agent) which is the highest credential the IRS awards, allowing her to practice before the IRS. This prompted her to open her own business with a vision of serving the community one numerical value at a time.
She decided to open her own practice to make sure that the client is always put first based on their needs, so that she could ensure that each client was given the best care by a licensed professional. We want to ensure that the company you trust with all of your sensitive information is owned and operated by a licensed tax practitioner.

Owner
Amber started her career in the accounting industry almost at birth, after working as a cashier at McDonalds in high school, she went on to hold various accounting positions at both for profit and non-profit companies.
In the past two decades, she helped to start and successfully ran for 14 years as general manager a very successful Accounting software company where she did everything from programming to taking out the trash.
Approximately four years ago, she was offered the general manager position at a failing tax company. She took that position and found what she was meant to do in life. She turned that company around and made it very profitable.
Amber then decided to branch out on her own and continue to do what she loved by helping her clients get the best tax advantages possible.
